Fabrication of non-replaceable superstructures on conventional and digital impression intraosseous implants

Introduction : Implantology is the fastest growing specialty in dentistry. A key point for accurate fabrication of fixed prosthetic structures taking an impression field. The implant-prosthetic restoration masticatory apparatus after composition function and aesthetics dentition through digital technology gaining wider popularity. Aim purpose this article to address materials compare two methods from implants—conventional digital—and clarify their advantages disadvantages. Materials Methods After reviewing materials, studies, publications on subject, we tried present systematize main techniques implants a conventional way, as well search was conducted using various keywords combinations: “transfer impression”, “conventional “intraoral scanner”, “CAD/CAM”, “scan body”. Results Forty-one original review articles were reviewed. Impression impression-taking permanent implant prosthodontics by methods, types intraoral scanning systems are discussed. Conclusion: Taking implantology. There differences implants. Two used, direct with open tray indirect closed tray. According many literature sources, open-tray technique more precise produces results, while others believe that closed-tray accurate. More often, impressions being replaced ones.
